Thank You!
I appreciate your visiting my site and all
of the positive comments you make and the tips you share. If you've found
information on the site that was of assistance to you, there are a few ways in
which you can help keep CompareRewards up and running!
Shop through our links!
There are no rewards programs that will
pay you a rebate for shopping at Amazon, so if you wouldn't mind shopping
through MY link, that income would support the site! Thank you!
There are only a couple of sites that
reward for Walmart purchases, and they are the college savings rebate sites
LittleGrad and Upromise. If you're not interested in joining those
programs and would consider shopping through MY link to Walmart, I would
certainly appreciate it! Thank you!
Join a Survey Site!
These programs allow you to earn cash or points for completing surveys.
These are good, legitimate sites that have paid me and that I feel confident
referring you to. When you join, they give me some sort of incentive
credit which will go to support CompareRewards:
Lightspeed Panel -
$5 minimum to cash out (cash out points for PayPal, Amazon, iTunes, merchandise,
etc.). Paid nine times in 2006. Opinion
Outpost - $5 minimum to cash out (paid by check). Earn points for
surveys; one point = 10 cents. Paid five times in 2006.
OTXsx - $5 minimum to cash out (cash out points for PayPal, Amazon, or other
e-gift certificates). Paid eight times in 2006. Please
email me for a link to join!
Join a Rewards Program!
You probably saw lots of reviews on CompareRewards.com...here are some programs
that I use often and can comfortably recommend, and your joining will result in
a commission to my site:
BondRewards
- The highest rebate rates around, but you can only cash out for $50 U.S.
Savings Bonds. Halve the rebates percentages given on the site to get an
accurate percent rebate.
CreationsRewards.net - Earn points you can cash in for GCs, PayPal, or check
and get paid quickly! Shopping rebates are good when you translate points
per dollar to percentage cashback, and rebates credit fast. Great customer
service! Earn for site visits, reading email, answering trivia, completing
offers. 25 points to start you off! Paid three times in 2006 and
numerous times since joining in 2002. Ebates - $5 bonus when you
join and make your first purchase, great rebates, get paid quarterly when your
account's over $5. Paid three times in 2006 and a total of 15 times since
I joined. FusionCash.net - $5
bonus when you join and complete your first offer. Get paid to complete
offers like trying out new services or making a purchase (most offers require a
credit card but you can cancel if you decide you're not interested).
Monthly payments by request via PayPal or check when your account exceeds $25.
Paid six times in 2006 (for a total of $401.20!).
Jellyfish - Great rebate rates, $10 to cashout (PayPal or check). Fun
reverse auction on weekdays where cashback increases until the sale item sells
out. Built-in comparison shopping engine calculates lowest price after
rebate for you. Just joined and expect my first rebate check in February.
QuickRewards.net - No minimum to cash out for PayPal or save up for other
GCs. Good shopping rebates, credited fast. Customer service is
wonderful! Earn for site visits, reading email, answering trivia,
completing offers, daily survey. Paid 14 times in 2006 (for a total of
$198!), and many other times since joining in 2003. QuizPoints - Earn points you can
cash in for GCs by shopping (good rates when points are converted to cashback
percent), completing offers, daily survey, submitting a daily freebie.
Fast payment when you cash out and great customer service. Paid three
times in 2006. RewardTV -
Earn points you can use for GC auctions or to buy merchandise by answering
quizzes about TV and various surveys. Find correct quiz answers
here!
Upromise - Earn rebates for shopping online or for registering your credit
or grocery store cards with the site before shopping offline. You can
request payment by check quarterly (in writing) or transfer your earnings into a
529 college savings plan, or even use it to pay off your student loan! Winzy - Perform searches on
this site and win prizes given out randomly throughout the day, including Amazon
GCs and iPods!
Join a Paid-to-Read-Email Program!
Paid-to-read-email programs, nicknamed "PTRs," pay you (generally in PayPal) to
click links in emails they send you. Most of the time the links take you
to a search engine page, where you'll be expected to perform a "valid" search
(search for something, click one of the top listed results, and wait for the
page to fully load). You can read more about the economics of how these
sites work in my
Get Paid to Read Email series of articles on CompareRewards. These are
some programs that I have some experience with, most of which have paid me
multiple times. Most of these sites don't allow AOL users (has something
to do with "proxy servers;" I can't explain it). Joining these sites and participating is another way you
can support CompareRewards. Thanks!
CashForAction, NetsReward,
and DollarForAction --
These three sites are run by the same folks and are set up the same: there are
no clicks onsite, emails contain one link only and are generally for 1/2 to 1c.
They occasionally send points emails; points convert to cash automatically the
next month. These sites have a 10c minimum payout but you do have to request it
between the 1st and 5th of the month, and they pay within a week. Around 75c a
month in earnings is realistic for each, much more if you complete some of their
special offers. Each of these three programs has paid me four times in 2006 and
always like clockwork, a week after the 5th of the month. Have been paid
by CFA a total of 17 times since I joined in 9/03, by NR 15 times since I joined
in 9/03, and by DFA 10 times since it started in 7/04. ItPayUs
-- Emails at this site are worth 3/4 of a cent each, and they send around 40 a
day. The minimum to cash out is $3. I cashed out from this program
for the first time about two weeks ago and was paid the next day.
ReadRevenue -- Emails are worth 1c each, around 50 a day. You need $3
to cash out. I haven't cashed out here yet but my friend Ginger has been
paid 45 times! (She must have carpal tunnel syndrome from all that
clicking!) AppleBizs
-- These guys have a $2 payout and their emails are worth 1/2 a cent each.
They send a ton, though: around 80 a day. I haven't cashed out from
them yet but will update this when I do to let you know how it goes!
CoolCatMails -- I just joined this site on Ginger's recommendation. She says they send over 40 mails a day and they're worth between
3/4 of a cent and 2 cents. The minimum to cash out is $2. Hope it
works out to be a good site; Ginger says they have paid her four times!
DolphinPTR -- This is the latest site I joined. They send around 65 1
and 2c emails a day and the minimum payout is $3.
