QuickRewards Tips
QuickRewards.net has it all: great shopping rates, free daily points,
excellent customer service... But it does have one downside; in some
places it's not all that intuitive! I hear the same questions being asked
again and again about this program, so I've put together this "cheat sheet" to
help new folks catch on quicker. Hope it helps! If you have other
questions, please send me an email!
What's a ref point? How much is it worth and when do
I convert them?
A ref point is equal to a tenth of a cent. You earn ref points by doing
things on the site like visiting websites. You can convert them to cash
any time you have more than 10 of them, by clicking on the "Convert Points" link
on the top right of your screen.
I signed up for a newsletter or a contest entry on the site
and I didn't get paid for it. What's up?
This could be caused by a couple of things. First of all, membership on
QuickRewards is limited to one account per IP address, which generally means one
account per household. Because many of the offers on the site are limited
by the offerers themselves to one per IP, if you completed the same offer
through another rewards program, you won't get paid for it a second time.
And last, did you confirm the signup? Offers completed on the site require
an extra step -- after you complete the offer (a newsletter signup, a contest
entry, a freebie) you have to return to the offer page on QR and refresh the
page. A link will appear under the offer that says, "Confirm Signup."
When you click it, a popup will open that will ask you for some specific piece
of information so that your participation in the offer can be verified. It
may be as simple as typing, "I CONFIRMED" into the popup, or it could ask what
color a particular word was after you submitted your information -- so it's
always a good idea to keep the offer window open until you confirm. Note
that offers that are sent out through QuickRewards' daily email do not require
this extra step to confirm. They are tracked automatically.
I completed a shopping offer through QuickRewards.
How do I let them know?
Go back to the QuickRewards shopping page that you clicked on to get to the
merchant's site. There will be a calculator with a rectangular box for you
to enter the amount of your purchase. Enter the amount and click Send.
You'll be given an order number and asked to forward the confirmation email you
receive from the merchant to QuickRewards with that order number in the subject
line.
About how long will it take after I complete an offer
before the earnings appear in my account?
It depends on the merchant, but it's usually the same day, but sometimes it can
take three days. It all depends on how quickly the merchant
reports your sale to QuickRewards. If you do other programs, you know how
incredibly fast this is -- some sites make you wait 30 days before your earnings
show up in your account!
When can I cash out? What can I cash out for?
You can cash your earnings out of QuickRewards whenever and as frequently as you
want...for as little as a penny, if you
choose PayPal as your payment method. Or you may prefer to save up your
earnings for a bigger reward. To see all of the redemption options, click
on Cashout toward the top of your screen, then click on "View the Available Gift
Certificate List." You'll see that there are emailable gift certificates
as well as physical gift cards. A few of the gift cards that have to be sent
through the U.S. mail incur an additional 50c charge for postage. That
covers your entire cashout; it's not PER gift card. The "stack" column
tells you what denominations of gift certificates are available for each
redemption -- for instance, you can cash out for Disney Dollars in $1
increments, but Amazon GCs are in $5 increments.
How do I cash out?
After clicking on the Cashout button toward the top of your screen and viewing
the available options, you can simply type in what you want to cash out for in a
text box under the section that says, "Extra." If you're requesting PayPal,
make sure you enter your PayPal email address. If you're wanting to
convert your earnings to CreationsRewards points, they'll need to know your
CreationsRewards login email address. If you want a Walmart redemption,
make sure to say whether you want the online GC or the physical card for
in-store use.
How long after I cash out will it take for me to receive my
reward?
QuickRewards definitely lives up to its name. You'll usually receive
PayPal redemptions within 24 hours; emailable GCs usually arrive within a few
days; mailable ones within about a week.
How do I earn the most money at QuickRewards?
1. Click the Earn Cash tab at the top of the screen and you'll see a list
of categories appear in a grey box on the right hand side of your screen.
Each of these categories contain offers you can complete, many of which don't
require spending money or providing a credit card. Remember to confirm
each signup! Many of these offers are one-time only; after you are
credited for them, "Completed!" will appear by the listing. Check the
categories from time to time as new offers are added periodically.
2. In the Clicks/Search section you'll find a list of banners you can
click daily (each day is defined as 24 hours from the last time you clicked the
banner). You can only click one banner at a time. You'll have to
wait a few seconds for the points to credit; the site will tell you when your
visit is credited. There are about 3.5 cents worth of clicks there
currently.
3. There are two additional HotJobs banners on the site that can be
clicked for 5 ref points (1/2 a cent) apiece; one is in Earn Cash, Contests; the
other is in Earn Cash, Free Stuff. That's another 1 cent per day.
And there's a daily 2 ref point click in the Grocery Store Coupons section, too!
4. QuickRewards sends out a daily email to its members that usually
contains an easy, non-spending offer. Lately they've had "visit this site
for 2c" but sometimes the offers pay more than that. Miss an email?
There's a link on the site (Paid Mail; it's toward the top near the Cashout
link) that lets you read all recently sent emails on the site!
5. Into online auctions? Get 5 cents apiece, for up to 5 times a
month, for making a bid on uBid.com. It doesn't even have to be a winning
bid! Get 3 cents apiece, unlimited times per day, for making a bid on
Overstock Auctions. Again, you don't have to win, but be sure to click
through the QuickRewards link EACH time you make a bid.
6. Answer the daily trivia question correct and get a chance to win
another penny! Each day, the computer randomly selects a proportion of
correct entrants to win 1 cent! Not good at trivia? The
AdLibCornerTriviaAnswers YahooGroup sends out the correct answer every day!
to receive it!)
7. Go to Earn Cash, Daily Paid Surveys and qualify for a survey!
Each day you do, you earn 75 cents!
8. Compare QuickRewards' shopping rates to other programs'. Often
you'll find QR is the highest. If they're not, send them an email and give
them a chance to match their competitor's rate.
9. Don't use a coupon you just "found" on the internet when you're
shopping through QuickRewards! Sometimes those coupons are specific to
another program or another website and they'll interfere with QR receiving the
commission for your sale...so they won't be able to pay you, either! If
you do see a good coupon out, ask QuickRewards before you use it. They can
tell you if it's "safe" to use or give you an alternative coupon specific for
QR. And if you don't have a coupon at all, they may be able to find one
for you -- just ask!
And more daily point-earning opportunities to come soon (or so I'm told)!
I'm not a member of QuickRewards.net yet but boy, it sounds
great! Can you give me a link, please?
No. Just kidding. ;) Here ya go!:
