Don't Forget the Forums!

|

If you have a sec, please stop by our message forums. They're still getting off the ground so things are a bit slow - if you have a tidbit to post, it'd sure be appreciated!

Want to build your downline? Post your referral link!

We've also added a general chit-chat area and a sale/trade forum, in addition to the sections set aside for deals/coupons and general rewards program discussions. Thanks for supporting the forums, and thanks for visiting CompareRewards.com!

Spend $1, get $25

| | Comments (13)

Just a reminder that this offer is still in effect! Make an easy $25!

INGDirect has extended its Referral Bonus savings account program -- so if you didn't get in on this before, there's still time!

If you get a referral from an existing customer (that's me!) and open a savings account with as little as a buck, they'll deposit an extra $25 bonus into your account! You have to wait 30 days to cash out the bonus, but that's still quicker than you'll get a reward from most rewards programs!! Set up a second account for your spouse and take advantage of the offer twice!! Send me your name and email addy, and I'll get the referral email to you right away. It contains the details on the offer and on the company. Gimme $25!!

Signup takes 5 minutes or so, and is just like signing up for Paypal -- your INGDirect savings account is linked to your checking account (deposits and withdrawals go through it). So all you need is your checkbook (for that pesky routing number) and it's a snap to sign up!

You DO have to get a referral from an existing customer to get the $25 bonus, so please click on the above link and I'll get it to you asap. l'll also be glad to answer any questions you have on the offer or on INGDirect (an FDIC-approved bank). I've already gotten my $25...Thanks for letting me refer you!

Adding this news item here because a good number of people doing rewards programs were also promoting ECF.

According to their homepage (http://www.exitcashflow.com), "The domain ExitCashFlow.com is currently for sale. All interested parties should contact us here. Take a look at our Alexa Rankings. We're currently in the top 1000. We're also listed on the top 100 at TrafficRanking.com. Proceeds of the sale will go to payout members."

I know a lot of folks were avidly promoting ECF, and I hope you see some of your earnings.

The Memolink program, which has a bad reputation for ridiculous delays in sending prize redemptions, continues to show that their reputation is well-deserved.

A reader here was kind enough to pass along the email he received from ML after inquiring about a long-overdue redemption -- a Webcertificate he redeemed for in mid-May that still has not arrived. In their response, below, Tim Stephens of ML Customer Support says that the prize will be sent "in the next couple of months." Excuse me? It's been 5.5 months already!! Then they have the gall to request that he not send any more emails on this matter until December?!

Is there any other rewards program that treats its members so shabbily? And continues to be in business??

Alternatives to Blink.com

Now that Blink's history, you may be looking for a replacement. I have a couple of suggestions:

1. Spidermanemails - they send maybe 10 emails a day, worth 1/4c each, and usually have about 1c of daily PTCs (site visits). One of their daily emails is a search link where you can earn 1/2c PER SEARCH with unlimited (as far as I know) searches. Payout's $2. And these guys don't do points -- just cash. Please click here to join.

2. Z-Cash - Some days no mail, one day recently as many as 15. The value of the mails varies...some 1/2c, some 1c. Some of these mails expire fairly quickly, so don't let them gather dust in your inbox! About 1c daily in PTCs. Payout is $3, and this program is all cash (no points) also. Please click here to join.

3. Cashforaction - 1c minimum payout, and I'd say 4 or 5 mails a day on average...not all that many. Like Z-cash, these mails don't last long, so click them as soon as you get them! They send cash and points mails; points convert automatically to cash after month end. No PTCs, but you can also earn cash for signups (to a spam address if you want). I've been paid by them. I've earned around $1.50 since my last payout in September. Please click here to join.

4. Netsreward - Sister site to Cashforaction and set up the same. I think the earnings may be a little slower on this site (than CFA). I've earned about $1.15 since my cashout last month. Please click here to join.

I'm a member of about 30 paid-mail programs, and these 4 best meet my criteria for keepers: no points or points convert to cash automatically, low payouts, reliable (have been around a while), and not an overwhelming amount of emails sent out. I know there are other programs sending out 5c emails, but with such high payout amounts, who knows if they'll be around when it's time to cash out?

I welcome your comments!
