CVS "See What's Free" Campaign Offers Freebie to All ExtraCare Members in August

If you're one of the over 50 million CVS ExtraCare cardholders, you've got a freebie waiting for you after your first purchase in August, according to a CVS press release sent out yesterday.

The CVS "See What's Free" campaign offers an unspecified freebie, printed on the register receipt, to each cardholder upon making his first in-store purchase in August. The cardholder will then have 7 days to redeem the coupon.

You must have been an ExtraCare member as of July 27th to be eligible for the free gift.

The press release says that ExtraCare is "the nation's largest retail rewards program" and that they awarded over $1.8 billion in Extra Bucks last year. I wonder how much of that was actually redeemed by members.

More information on how CVS ExtraCare works can be found here. If you're a member of Upromise, you can receive additional rewards when linking your CVS ExtraCare card to your Upromise account. Not a member of Upromise yet? Please join here (aff).
