CVS Video Rewards

CVS is getting ready to launch a new rewards program, CVS Video Rewards. In return for watching around 10 minutes of video ads for products available from CVS, members will receive a free $5 CVS gift card. The program is powered by AdPerk, which ran a similar promotion with Sears last year.

The program was initially set to launch in the "beginning of 2009" start date, but in this presentation from March 2, vendors are advised to submit their videos for the service before the end of March. CVS Video Rewards will be promoted using a banner ad to be placed on the CVS.com website. They expect "thousands" of offer completions a day and provide some demographic estimates (mostly women, 35 or older, half college-educated).
