that was the first time i saw that and i almost cried i was laughing so hard (fav was the little guy peeing on the netwinner logo)very creative. here is a thought. becky if you have any friends in the t.v. /broadcasting area perhaps you could send a copy of that tape to them. i see all the time where they will feature stories like this on some of the news programs. nothing gets people more involved than the mention of scamming the elderly and the young. just a thought. figure if a newcast like nbc abc cbs ect.... got that they would show it all over the states and perhaps other areas of the world. from the mouths of babes

The argument of duplicate windows open in this case on their part cancels itself out. Why?

Well say you were playing the game and got booted. Then when you try to come back in you get the duplicate window warning even though you've only got one window open. Netwinner actually became a duplicate window generator in that case because they forgot to install an auto-disconnect user option on their server. That's not your fault, it's theirs.

Another reason why the duplicate window argument wouldn't stand up is because they would need to prove that the accused player(s) were actively playing with more than one open window. If Netwinner were to try to submit false documentation to show double play (ironic as they "double deal" quite a bit, lol.), your own computer's unique identifying information (and a few other places t

/cheer Jocelyn. It's always great to see someone so young be active in taking a stand. Even many adults never realize the power they themselves have as idividuals.

I myself was once on Canadian National news giving my opinions on certain laws here after i sent feedback on a news story they did. I won't mention what it was. Not relevant to the conversation at hand. But it sure feels great to be self empowered for what you believe.

Better yet my wife and daughter came with me for the taping and my daughter got to learn first hand that one person's voice can be heard no matter who you are.

All the media resources available to us in this time give us all great power to effect change. If telling your story to a news agency or writing a blog or making a video apeal to you then let your voice be heard, not just on this but all the things you see fundamentlly wrong in the world.

I was saying much same to my wife earlier. NW seems to keep trying the "Look over there" trick. It's all so bizaar the way they acting. Chickens with heads cut off. So I guess they have this new forum that is invite only so those brownosers have to work extra hard to go do their regular brownosing. So four members and buncho mods chanting "Netwinner is great. Greatest forum ever". What a joke. BTW, I'm betting alot of people only play on the weekend and havn't even discovered what's what yet. So Sat. and Sun I'd expect people coming here will likely pick up. Alot to read here as well. Gonna take some time to go all through it and sure many people will.

I find it hard to believe that someone who claims to have written software since the age of twelve would not install an auto-disconnect user function into the game software. If for no other reason to make it easier for the company to detect cheating.

Utilizing the same medium Netwinner used to exploit thousands of people is brilliant. Force them out of business or underground, but be sure not to break any laws while doing it. The goal is to warn potential new sign-ups. By doing that, Netwinner will have no success. If you do create videos, make sure your information is factual.

Another thought, if accused by Netwinner of cheating and you're positive you followed the rules governing your contract between yourself and them, offer (law enforcement) your hard-drive as evidence. Since everything you do online leaves "fingerprints," most members subject to these (ridiculous) accusations should be able to easily disprove their claims.

To reiterate previous suggestions, be sure to cruise the net looking for perfect opportunities to post about your recent distasteful experiences about Netwinner. Places such as Gather, BigBigForums, MyCoupons, DealofDay, LottsaLottos, Boomertowne, GetPaidForum and many more still lack the onslaught of comments needed to alert the public about this obvious fraud.

I did the ripoff one. It's a really good site. Also I've been over at NWC under a friends name who called me and gave me the user and pass. She said she herself will never go through their doors again. Mike says they will no longer answer questions on the forum but by email. He says they are hijacked too quick. He also has a Quote of the day thread. Other people put in their quote of the day. He deleted the quotes and locked the thread. Go figure.

You know, this is the first time since this happened that I am actually sad. I went to the sancturay forum. Mike is talking about how the players are going to help them rebuild the new netwinner. I mean we are forgotten. We were nothing to them but yeaterdays garbage. They don't care at all what was done to us. That is hard to swallow. I thought some of the mods were really on our side but not a one of them was. Not a one. I am 53 years old and have been taught a a lesson. Man this sucks.

what really sucks is that some people who you thought were on your side turned. Ive seen a few people who detested what nloser did but are still there, hey, more power to them i suppose, if they honestly believe they wont get screwed again but thats not a chance im willing to take. It has become the most boring forum in the history of boring forums.

I guess that's what happens when you obliterate everyone with an opposing point of view.

I always tell my kids to embrace diversity...variety is the spice of life...what a boring world it would be if everybody was just alike. Well, NWC is a case in point.

Apparently, that must be their Achille's Heal, and after Arion Hardison publically admitted on NWC that he made porn available to minors, perhaps mentioning in your complaints to the Attorney General and the IFC the fact that Netwinner is directly connected to the porn industry may increase the chances of an investigation.

I hope everyone is doing well, and it going forwarded with their complaints on Netwinner. I have gone past the stage of being mad by being ripped off from the site. I for one will not stop filing my complaints and intend on getting the word out to as many as I can on how Netwinner has defraud it's members. I just don't want to see more people come victims of this type of scam.

I quit playing the games on May 12th and I'm so glad I don't have to put up with this unprofessional site, their lies and empty promises any longer.

I see at Netwinner Central they have started a section on the forum called,"Sanctuary from the Negativity". It appears it was to build up the moral for the ones who want to continue to support this scam site. Some of the members from what I've read there are only trying to spit in the face of the ones who are anti-netwinner. One particular comment by DNofOhio makes a post that states, "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort." Maybe I'm wrong, but does this not seem to be in retaliation against the ones who prefer to take a stand against what happened on May 12th?

There will always be people out their who will fall for a scam. They build their dreams on empty promises. It only takes once for me. I won't allow myself to become victimized again by Netwinner. I just didn't know their were so many gullible and weak minded people out there who are willing to set themselves up again to be scammed. Not knowing is one thing, but after being scammed once you would think they have learned their lesson.

So Mike's idea of being a player advocate is to either offer excuses or just not answer questions, or in the rare event that he answers honestly, he then goes back and edits his response because he realizes it was damaging to the company. Then he states we are misquoting him????

If Mike cashed in and is using duplicate accounts to boot (as is evidenced by his i.m. messages to and from one of you in another thread), he would revoke the bond required for Netwinner to have a jackpot in the first place. The TOS has always clearly stated that employees and their agents are not allowed to receive compensation for playing the games. Wonder who that bond company is? Betcha someone knows.

Hi Ann , that was my report you linked to on ripoffreports , i checked last night and only 5 people had reported netwinner on there so far but im betting many more will be showing up soon .

Another avenue i would like to pursue is a report on consumerist.com , which is a kind of " consumer fights back " blog with millions of readers .

My main goal at this point is to close netwinner down , they have no interest in paying us , much as if we could just say " wait i wanna restart , erase all my debts , kids and wife and start life over " thats what they are doing .. to hell with the old players , they want new ones and im not going to let that happen .

As far as the new forum , though i havent went over there to see whats been said today ( see i do have a life) i think its incredibly crappy to start a happy thread for the a$$ kissers and theyre buds.
I believe the mods etc are getting their money , otherwise there is no reason they would stay , would you volunteer at a homeless shelter if it was secretely robbing the homeless?

I have also been posting on the web.....for people to cancel their accounts at NW. There was a thread in which someone name sweetypet asked to have their NW and NWC accounts deleted on May 14. Mike told them to email support@netwinner.com to which they replied they had. Well, as of now, I can still IM this person through NWC, so their request was not looked after. NW does not want to lose their member stats, but if you request to be removed, they should have to comply, do they not????

BBK I sure hope you don't mind that I posted that link. I was googling netloser rip offs and that site came up. I thought it looked like a good place to post about what happened with netloser. I am headed over there now to file. I was at work earlier and didn't want to be online too long.

I have been trying to get onto the ripoff report site and everytime I go to the screen with netloser comments, it freezes up. I will try tomorrow. Hopefully that means it's being hit with lots of people complaining.

Couldn't agree more. It isn't about the money owed, it isn't even about being lied to and insulted again and again, it's about ensuring their demise using the same methods they used to rip their own loyal members off. Word of mouth.

I'm not sure about anyone else but I checked the box to allow media or law enforcement to contact me through there so maybe someone with the right authority will read all of our reports and shut them down once and for all. Then I guess Mike will have to resume his journalism career, after going back to elementary school to learn grammar, spelling, and punctuation again. lol

Well, I don't think I've been banned at NW forum but I posted once on May 13 expressing my disgust with everything and said I wasn't participating any further in the game OR the forum. So they don't really need to ban me, I'm not posting there anyway.

I thought for the purposes of what we're doing (filing reports with BBB and AG's office) that we should keep our accounts open but not play? won't it be easier to document things and keep track of what's happening there if we keep them?

I plan to participate a little more but I'm caught up through tomorrow with a big family reunion. I only turned on the PC today for first time at 10 p.m. so I've been reading like crazy.

i have been trying to copy and save any threads that might get deleted for their convenience or benefit but i missed that 'perks' thread someone mentioned completely when i was away from puter today, i hope at least a couple of you are saving stuff like that too, never know when they will say something that might come in handy later

i don't think they are going to delete any accounts whether they think the player was cheating or if the player requests it or whatever, i think they are keeping all 40% of the 'cheaters' to pad their numbers for the advertisers

I think it takes a bit for the claims to show up like they do at other agencies. Sometimes they won't show up with certain agencies as searchable until resolved.

I just read the link you posted, I have no respect for those partner sites that continue to do business with Netwinner after the scam was revealed. But considering Becky's report on the big raise partner sites recently got, and the fact that Netwinner has always paid the partner sites their share on time, it doesn't surprise me that a few other greedy sites would ride the scam for all its worth.

On the other hand, Becky has earned a ton of respect, not only for doing her research and deciding not to just jump on the partner site bandwagon, but for being an outspoken critic and allowing former Netwinnerites to vent frustrations. Thanks again, Becky :)

NetWinner has been added to GPTBoycott's Watch List. There's a link here to a complaint submission form. Enough complaints and they are officially boycotted. Doesn't mean a heckuva lot but it does help to publicize members' unhappiness with the site.

With 3 kids (all under age 4, including a newborn), trying to bring down the evil empire of Netwinner, and classes, I never have gotten around to signing up, sorry :( But I'm still interested in trying it.

I just noticed something interesting on the boycott page, several of the partner sites are listed as "verified supporters", which means, among other things, they will not advertise boycotted sites, which means with a few more complaints, if Netwinner becomes boycotted, they should be forced to lose some partner sites, I counted about 7 just of the ones I know are partner sites.

i would like to know if yahoo.com has their own news people? people that not only report the news from stories they see but those that also investigate stories presented to them? the reason i am asking is because in the past week there has been a major story that no one seems interested in covering on any new station.
there is a website/company netwinner.com netwinner llc that in the past week has decided that the thousands of members that have been watching their ads for over a year or more will not be receiving their earned awards. the company decided that because 40% of their members have been caught cheating that they will in turn not pay anyone. i have myself been cheated out of $350 and there are others that have lost much more than that. there have been letters sent to the BBB but netwinner only seems to respond to them with stall tactics. the final straw was netwinner decided that they would return all the points members won and had cashed in for their gift card and would now only allow them to be used in raffles. many people are very weary of their raffles seeing that their was one time that in a span of 4 days the same 4 people won a daily raffle 2 times each in the same order. each day has 2 drawings for $250 each and the raffles are auto entries that are won from a lotto game. now each members get the same amount of spins and should have the same odds at getting a free entry into the raffle how ever out of the 20,000 people that netwinner states they have the same 4 people won 2 times in a 4 day span. i am unsure what the ods of that happening however i know the ods of it happening with just 100 members would be well over 1 in 90 million.
any way is there is any way that yahoo could look into this and if you do investigations then perhaps you could do a news report on this obvious scam and this would inform others not to join this site. i am sure that no one will ever get the funds that are owed them but i would hate to think that this company can continue doing this time after time to people without their ever being some sort of info out there that would warn unsuspecting people.

btw. one of the employees has gone on record stating that what they have done was wrong but oh well that is just something the people will have to deal with. other employee has called the members that have complained about this cry babies. want to point out that a lot of the players were the elderly and disabled along with stay at home moms and various other and some that played to relax at the end of a work day. had the company not gotten paid from their sponsors they would have wanted to file suit against the sponsor and i can think of no reason that there should be a law investigation into the operation of this company for fraud. and if it does fall within the definition of fraud then that each person attached to the company be held accountable.

i should know come monday for sure. i just sent becky a email with my intent. do not want to post them here because do not want to give out my plans. but trust me if i am told what i think i will be told i will have some very good news come monday and a new avenue for each member that has been cheated. so everyone who has screen shots of any deleted post please hold it tight. perhaps copy it to a floppy to ensure you still have it just in case your puter crashes.

netwinner does not understand there is nothing i myself love more than a fight against those that would take advantage of others. and i will go through any means to ensure that this sort of thing does not happen to any others ( at least not from the same company ) without them having to pay somehow. at this point i no longer want my gift cards because i know even if i was to get them there would still be hundreds or even thousands of members that would not.

Ive noticed on NWC things have quieted down ,i think they are simply deleting negative posts and threads before anyone sees them

I hear from a very reliable source (i.e. a friend who is not yet banned from NW Central), that Mike was asked several days ago how NW can offer the million dollar jackpot when they can't even pay the $25 e-count redemptions they owe. Mike said he would try and find an answer from HQ, but still hasn't responded. He doesn't even know if the jackpot is insured, which I would think by law any jackpot of that size would have to be insured. Given that they are going against their contract in not paying members for outstanding redemptions, how can the jackpot be anything but additional false advertising and fraud on the part of Netwinner?

Found GPTboycot last night searching for NW scam threads and it was at 5 complaints makinging it on the watch list. Added mine plus few others here should now make it on the boycot list.

i think it is hilarious what is going on over there. the sanctuary is nothing more than brown nosers(curt) and druged up delusionoids(mods, except those that are former mods that have crossed over to the good side). and lets not forget mike, who has less answers than sean connery and burt reynolds combined on celebrity jeopardy.

Carlton- Just to offer some advice, you may want to be hesitant to pass on information that Netwinner puts out, especially about the alleged 40% of their memberbase being cheaters. If a statistic like that cannot be backed up with some sort of evidence then think of it as propaganda. If you've read some of their press releases, you'll notice how they habitually inflate, embellish and distort the truth to suit their needs.

If they claim to have paid over a million dollars to members since inceptoin, then they easily could've afforded to hire a professional scriptwriter or programmer to circumvent bots. They could've limited membership to one account per household. There were numerous security measures they could've adapted. It was their own ineptness that caused the collapse. Unfortunately, those at the bottom are the ones who lose.

One last comment; Since they're incapable of managing a successful business they should voluntary close and stop embarrassing themselves and everyone associated with them.

I have now supplied my complaint to the gptboycott site as well. I did count some 8 to 10 partner sites of netwinner that signed up there stating they would boycott any sites that make it to the actual boycott list. Lets hope they all comply!!! The more complaints they receive the more likely this will happen. Keep it up everyone!!!!!

trust me i am withholding any info from the members here. i would freely give all info. the part i am withholding is info about another pathway that the cheated members could take. i do not want to devulge this info until i am certain that there would be some form of investigation done were enough people to contact these people. seeing that i can not contact them until monday then if i was to devulge the info the officers/owners of netwinner may turn tail and hide. but trust me if this turns out as a form of action then it would be the best action for each member to take and we could stop contacting all the rest of the agencies and focus on this one. if you would like any further info please contact becky or myself and i would gladly inform you of my intensions.

that thing about the same raffle winners repeated was said to be a typo by shelly when she posted winners when she was tired and that has been changed in winners list

also, i thought that i had heard them boast of about 200,000 members, not 20,000, although mike refuses to discuss actual numbers for some reason

also, you should have pointed out that although they claim to have 40% cheaters they have not banned any of them from playing or removed them from members list so they can continue to pad their numbers for the purpose of higher ad revenues

i have heard of a few of people that they tried to cancel their accounts with netwinner and that they could not do it and had written to nw to get them to do it but it has not happened probably for the same reason as above

i think all of the forum comments from mike where he continually promised that we would get paid if we just had patience and faith in them would be relevant too, i got a late start saving stuff from forum but i hope some of you have screen shots of stuff like that as well as some of his rude and childish behavior (toward members with valid questions) as a paid employee/representative of nw

Two, Netwinner is drafting more formal company answers for us to use both on the forum and in support mail.' and in that same thread hardtimer said 'Even though, it may seem far off or endless right now. I do and will stand behind Netwinner and I do know they will payout prizes due. I have no doubts of this.'

i have a thread where mike said on march 28 'I am afraid the wait is longer than that right now. They are currently sending out Ecount requests from Nov. We are working on getting caught up.'

i saved a few single comments like when mike said on april 14 'I am part of a team that is the most talented pool of professionals I have ever seen. We have a goal to build a website and business like no other that has ever existed based on delivery of video ads via the web. My part is to stand on the front line (with many volunteer players) and take the heat from angery players. I gladly do it for the team. We are good and honest. We try our best. As you know, we are not perfect. I am not saying I am smart, but you ever know any smart people? Notice how they are not always the easiest to get along with? Well, try working with a few dozen, lol.

That is not the case at the moment because there is great pressure from within and elsewhere to get everything done ASAP. It is impossible to explain why things are as they are to anybody who can not see the whole picture. I always do my best to give the most accurate answer I can.'

i have a thread where mike said on may 7 'Some players have asked why I have been so quiet. There are a few truths at work. Things got to a point where words mattered less, actions were needed. Action takes a littler longer to create than a post about the action. You may not have seen me say the fulfillment mess is getting cleaned up but it is. Some players blame me for things. Some say I am not to blame for anything. Neither is true. Both Netwinner's mistakes and successes are shared collectively by the entire organization. That is just the way it is here and it is a good way to run things.
We have learned from our mistakes. We are cleaning up our messes. You will soon see big changes to support, much better communication to players, and new, interesting changes and additions to the games.
I just thought for this one time, I would say less about it and show you more as we do it.
I am here for the player the same as I always have been.

that is just a small part of what i have saved but sadly i did not get started on it until they had already deleted thousands of posts from hardtimer and mike (2565 total posts deleted just from those 2 when i did my count a few nights ago)

yes knothead i also have seen them say that they have over 150,000 members but i was going on the last amount that was stated by netwinner and that amount was 20,000 drastic drop. i also would like to point out that in the letter from the president he states that they pay out 50,000 every month yet if you all can think back to when you first logged in you would remember that the site had a figure of over 100,000 each month. i figured out a long long time ago that what is said on netwinner can not be believed. as for netwinner changing data to make them look better i guess they could do that of course i can not ponder as to why they would say that 40% have cheated if in the long run they would have to prove it not to mention having that % of your members just shows that the owners of the site did not have any care about who was playing or how many accounts they had because each account just meant that was more money they got from their sponsors. of course this would not help netwinner to much with all the false info all it would take would be for one of their sponsors to get a hold of some of the presidents letter that was sent out to everyone and that letter along would show that netwinner was more than likely in violation of some of the contracts.

Mikes post about giving the players second chances really gets me. I guess post like that from him bother me the most. He gives the players a second chance. Whoopty dang do. I honestly don't see how he sleeps at night. I mean it's like he thinks we should all just say "They stole are money..no biggie. I'll stay and let them do it again. If it makes you happy Mike, I'll let them do it a thousand times Just please oh please give me a second chance"

about the 100,000 point raffle, in the prize page raffle winners list there are daily winners listed for the 100,000 pts up through april 12, after that there is one listed for april 27 and that is all

they have winners listed for some of the other prizes on april 27 and may 7

if winners are posted 24 to 49 hours after drawing as stated does that mean nobody is entering the raffles for the 100,000 pts? maybe even the sunshine club realizes that points are useless now
