Download the Free Upromise Toolbar...Or Not
I got a postcard by snailmail today from Upromise, urging me to download and install their toolbar. I want to warn rewards program members to avoid this if you intend to shop through programs other than Upromise.
I also found this article about the toolbar interesting.
Avoid toolbars, people, unless you're going to use one and only one rewards program.

I attended a presentation by Kellie from AFP at the Affiliate Summit in January and just want to echo this advice about the toolbar. Not only will it mess up any other rewards programs that you try to use, but it will take away from the money that hardworking bloggers and site owners (like this one) deserve. In addition to the Upromise toolbar, this also applies to downloads like Arcade Rockstar, Screensavers, and other joke/recipe toolbars.
