Sears Choice Rewards (Sears Gold Mastercard) Doubles Points
Through July 15, every $1 purchase made to your Sears Gold Mastercard (enrolled in the Sears Choice Rewards program) from a drugstore, gas station, or supermarket will equal 2 points. These points will NOT be subject to the 60,000 annual point cap! It will take 4 to 8 weeks from the end of the promotion for the points to appear in your account. For info on how they define qualified purchases, and what they specifically exclude, click Continue Reading.

Note that they are very specific about their definitions of the types of stores that qualify: "supermarkets are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell a complete line of food merchandise for home consumption. Drugstores are stand-alone merchants that primarily sell prescription and proprietary drugs and nonprescription (over the counter) medicines. Gas stations are merchants that primarily sell vehicle fuel for consumer use."
They're also very clear about what does NOT qualify: "purchases made at warehouse clubs, discount stores, department stores, and convenience stores...online, catalog, mail order and telephone purchases are not eligible to receive double Points unless the merchants identify the transactions as being made at a supermarket, drug store or gas station...we do reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for double Points."

You can enroll by signing the box on your payment slip. There is an annual fee. I think it is $20 or $25.

I am a former choice rewards recipient, and I have just tried to check on points earned this period and am told that I have to re-register. I asked what my password was and was denied stating I am not registered. If I am not registered why am I Paying $25 dollars
rewards fee periodically? If I am not registered, then I want my registration fees back that I have paid periodically.
Your response will be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you, Gerald W. Clemente

In November I was sent a list of items that could be purchased with points on my mastercard, plus a shipping fee. Instead I was sent a bill for $97.79 . What's up with this? No points were taken off my balance of points.

On my account dated 02/19/08 I have a charge of $92.00 that Choice Rewards was to pay for (maybe less freight). It looks to me that the Choice Rewards Points was not deducted from the order as you advertised. What is going on. Please advise because I'm upset about this.

Hi,
I am trying to find out information re the Sears Rewards Points.
No where on the bill does it give you any information on what you can do with the points or what amount is the minimum to redeem. It does not give you any information on what you can redeem these points for.
I preferred the previous way you handled points--they could be redeemed for a cash coupon that could be used towards a purchase at Sears. This information was noted on your bill.
Please send me information on the Rewards Points.
Thanks.
Joan
