Programs Being Boycotted

| | Comments (3)

Here is some interesting reading...link for more info is below.

In summary, Jay Dillard (aka James Montroy), the owner/operator of many gptr sites: AutoMatic-Cash, Ebiz-PaidEmail, Jays-PaidMail, Fancy-Cash, Jays-SuperCash, Jays-CashPoints, JaysPaid2Read, Sherrygirls-PaidMail, and Sherrys-QuickPayOut, has been outed as a registered sexual offender, a multiple DUI convict, a bad check writer, and more...with charges as recently as 6/1!

Many users are unsubscribing from his programs in protest. Some gptr webmasters are refusing to run ads for his programs anymore, including the WM of Fantasy-Email.

Anyhow, more detailed reading is below, if you're interested. I'm not suggesting anybody do anything...Just sharing the info.

It seems to me that the guy is already being punished. He's probably, regardless of what he might have done, got more problems than most people would be able to deal with. I'm not a member of any of these sites, but as long as they pay (?) why be self-righteous about it? Give the guy a chance and let the authorities sort it out.

I hear what you're saying, Mike, and generally I'd agree with you...but a) this was something the public needed to know about because if you're in jail or evading arrest, you're probably not going to be able to pay out what you owe your members, and b) morals do matter to a lot of people, and I think many people would prefer to not be financially supporting someone who had been convicted of sex crimes against children. The capitalist in me says that doesn't matter, but my heart tells me that it does. But that's just my own personal decision. Everybody's free to decide as they will -- that's the beauty of free enterprise.
